It is a block and ½ to the Beach, a mere 3-minute walk. We provide beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, beach carts and small coolers for guest use with 24/7 access.



Our 2nd-floor Deck Lounge is an ideal place to relax and capture some Instagram-worthy selfies! Enjoy the shaded seating area with comfortable rocking furniture, a swinging egg chair, icemaker, water station, sink, and plenty of cozy spots. Perfect for kicking back, feeling the breeze, and people-watching while you unwind.

BBQ is on the ground level, on the patio, and features a full outdoor kitchen with gas grill, cooktop, sink and utensils. Comfortable seating and bluetooth speakers to enjoy the tropical vibe.

Our custom surfboard shower is a vibrant landmark with hot/cold water to rinse sand, glowing at night to guide you to your favorite vacation suite.

Laundry Facilities

Coming Late 2026: We’re excited to announce that an on-site laundry room will be available for guests starting late 2026!

In the meantime, we do not have laundry facilities on site. Here are the two closest laundromats to Blue Wave Suites (440 E Shore Drive):

• Suds On Belcher Laundromat
  1471 S Belcher Rd, Clearwater, FL 33764
  (Modern, 24/7, recently renovated with new machines)
• Happy Bubbles Laundromat
  412 S Missouri Ave, Clearwater, FL 33756
  (24-hour coin laundry with full-service options)

Both locations offer coin/debit/credit-operated washers and dryers with convenient beach-area access.

Enjoy the convenience of complimentary parking when you stay at Blue Wave Suites. Each unit has one parking space just for them! If you need additional parking we will be happy to assist you in finding public parking.

If you arrive and there is not a parking spot available at the main hotel parking area, please park at any spot located in the  452 & 454 E Shore Drive Villa parking lot or at 453 Poinsettia Ave.

Please do not park directly in front of 451 Poinsettia.

Parking passes are located on the kitchen table in your suite. Please place these on your dashboard in the vehicle.



Surf the web with free high-speed WiFi for Blue Wave guests, available in all common areas! Login to your favorite apps on our smart TV's and enjoy fast streaming!

Coming Late 2026: Complimentary breakfast. Enjoy bagels, muffins, fruit, yogurt, fresh coffee and more on the rooftop deck.

In the meantime, savor juicy burgers and casual vibes at the Beach Burger Shack or indulge in a romantic, elegant dinner at Beachcomber Restaurant, both steps away from Blue Wave Suites!

Clearwater Aquatic & Recreation Center (off-site)


The Clearwater Aquatic & Recreation Center is a short walk from the property. When the City of Clearwater provides complimentary fitness center passes to local lodging partners, we are happy to offer them to our guests upon request at check-in (subject to availability and not guaranteed).

This city-managed fitness center is seasonal; hours and availability are determined by the City of Clearwater and may vary by season or weather.
